We are a mother-daughter duo who love traveling together and sharing our experiences from around the world. We've hiked New Zealand, Patagonia, Nepal, and many national parks in the U.S.; we've gone on numerous safaris and had amazing wildlife encounters in many countries in Africa as well as in the Galapagos, the Arctic, and Antarctica; we've enjoyed numerous cruises around the world, from luxury to budget-friendly. If you want to go somewhere, there's a good chance we've been there!

After an all-consuming career as a media executive, I took early retirement in 2015 and have joyfully traveled the world ever since.
I’ve been to 90-plus countries and all seven continents, having fallen in love with Antarctica in 2024. My favorite place? Africa, where I’ll return for my 8th time in 2026.
Friends frequently sought my travel assistance and I loved helping them. "You should be a travel advisor," everyone told me. So I did!

Bucket List:
- Japan - For cherry blossoms and more. I canceled two cruises during Covid and will finally get there in 2027
- Maldives and Seychelles - I’ve been to French Polynesia and long to bask in luxury over water again.
- Hike as hard as I can for as long as I can in the world’s coolest places: Switzerland Mt Blanc is next.

I am a TaeKwonDo instructor near Orlando, Florida; in my past life, I was an English professor for eight years, and before that a corporate lawyer in New York City. I have a B.A. from the University of Washington in English and economics, a J.D. from Yale University, and an M.F.A. in creative writing from Columbia University. I also design custom iPhone and Android apps and have a professional coding certification from MITxEmeritus (plus, I made this website).
I travel often, constantly seeking out beautiful locales and outdoor adventures. (This picture is from the four-day W Trek in Torres Del Paine National Park in Chile.) Nothing brings me as much joy as encountering wildlife in its natural habitat, whether it's leopards in South Africa, sea turtles in the Galapagos, polar bears in Canada, or whales and penguins in Antarctica. My dream as a travel advisor is to help people experience incredible moments such as these for themselves.
I am an avid writer, with several novels and one musical in my repertoire, and when I was seven years old I won a national contest to invent and publish a board game. In the past, I've moonlit occasionally as a pianist at a local establishment. Two adorable goldendoodles keep me on my toes!
Bucket List:
- Switzerland - We've been looking for the right opportunity to hike the Tour de Mont Blanc.
- Australia - My last continent! Hiking, scuba, animal encounters--I want to do it all.
- Thailand - I've visited briefly on a cruise, but I'd like to return for both the scuba, the Thai food, and the culture.
- Anywhere - Witness sea turtles hatching and making their way to the sea.
- French Polynesia - Mei-Mei swam with humpback whales here and I've been wildly jealous ever since!
- Magdalena Bay - Swim with humpbacks during the special sardine run season
ADVENTURES TO REMEMBER
Some of Our Favorite Travel Experiences
Memorable moments from our travels around the world.
- Crossing the Thorong-La Pass on the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal.
- Kayaking with whales in Antarctica.
- Stumbling upon a valley full of giraffes on Regan's first ever safari. We've never seen this many all together since!
- Everything about our heritage discovery and tourism trip to China in 2016, but especially finding a moment to ourselves on the Great Wall (which really is great!).
- Living among polar bears (practically) in Churchill, Canada.
- Living out our hobbit dreams together, TWICE.
- Just about every moment of every safari, but especially when the big cats get up close and personal, like these lions in Timbavati, South Africa!
- And this time we got to hang out with a cheetah mom and her grown cub ("Junior") for hours in Botswana.
- Or leaving our camp in Zambia, sad not to have seen a leopard after searching far and wide, and then finding this young beauty hanging out on a branch above the road to the airpot.
- Sailing up to the northern pack ice and briefly being the northernmost ship in the world.
- Dogsledding in Svalbard. What a rush!
- Running around Africa in Jedi robes together.
- Conquering the Torres del Paine hike (day 1 of the W Trek).
- When some young sea lions decided we must be their mother in the Galapagos.
- And all of the snorkeling with beautiful sea turtles in the Galapagos.
- Breathing in the majesty of the Grand Canyon for the first time.
- And reveling in the quiet beauty of Antelope Canyon.
